00 / ABOUT

Built from
real life.

Zaden Z is a rapper from Sacramento, California, making melodic hip-hop about real life. The late nights, the low points, and the come-up. He started releasing music in 2017 with the Insomnia albums, followed by the Love EP and the 888 playlist.

His upcoming album The Stars Remain The Same Pt. 1 is seven songs and his most personal work yet.

Off the mic, Zaden is a macro photographer (@shotbyzaden) and a game maker. He builds and codes his own browser games, all playable in the arcade on this site. Everything here is independent, released through his own label, Infinitus Media.

03 / PHOTOGRAPHY

Small worlds, close up.

I like getting close enough to notice the stuff people usually walk right past.

Praying mantis perched on a deep red leaf
Water droplets magnifying the surface of curled kale
Small jumping spider viewed close up
Tiny blue-gray snail among bright green moss
Pale pink blossoms on a dark branch
